Dr. Johnes (Jay) Moore, Dead at 84

Emeritus Professor Dr. Jay Moore has passed away.  

Dr. Moore taught Biology at Salem State University from 1966-1991.  He organized the founding and was the first President of NEERS and was made an Honorary Member in 1991.  Jay also was instrumental in the creation of the Massachusetts Bays Marine Studies Consortium and served as its President for a number of years.
